Theses & Dissertations

Local Theses are shelved on the 4th floor of the library under the call number LD5098.7. Use the Online Catalog to locate theses written by CSU-Pueblo students. They can be searched by author, title, subject or keyword. Additionally, they can be browsed as a group by entering the university’s name into the Author Alphabetical field.

Electronic Access Digital Dissertations provides full text electronic dissertations from 1997-Present; citations of dissertations from 1861-Present and citations of theses from 1988-Present. Dissertation Abstracts lets you search dissertations and theses produced nationally and internationally, and request them through interlibrary loan.

Reference Sources

Credo Reference A collection of general reference books covering a broad range of topics. Click here for technology titles, and here for science titles

Knovel Library *** This is a collection of over 1,000 electronic reference books covering aerospace, mechanical, environmental, and construction engineering, industrial safety, and materials science. It includes interactive tools for graphing and unit conversion.

Oxford Reference Online Another general collection of online reference books.  

Print reference books are located on the second floor under the general call number T and its subdivisions as listed below.

Local Catalog Information

Use the Online Catalog to locate books, government documents, theses, and A/V materials within the CSU-Pueblo Library.

Most books on Engineering are found in the T section, with breakdowns as follows:

  • TA - general and civil engineering
  • TD - environmental technology
  • TJ - mechanical engineering and mechatronics
  • TN - industrial engineering
  • TL - Aeronautics and astronautics
  • TS - Manufacturing
  • Circulating books in the library are currently located on the 4th and 5th floors while reference books are located on the 2nd floor. Audiovisual materials are on the first floor by the Circulation Desk.

 

Getting Materials from Other Locations
